Renault Rendezvous 2025 – East Vic / SE NSW

We’ve gone west, north and south. This Rendezvous we go east – east Victoria / south-east NSW for eight nights / nine days.

It’s hopefully going to be late March 2025, mid way between the AGP and Easter, if the organising goes well otherwise early-mid October after the alpine roads re-open.

Stops

  1. First night is at Bright, via the Black Spur, Mansfield and the King Valley.
  2. Second night is Wodonga, via Falls Creek, Mitta Mitta – Bogong High Plains Rd and the Omeo Hwy
  3. Third night at Jindabyne, via Talgano, Corryong and Tom Groggin
  4. Fourth night also at Jindabyne, after a day tripping around the area
  5. Fifth night in Merimbula, via Cooma
  6. Sixth night also in Merimbula, after various activity options
  7. Seventh night in Lakes Entrance, via Bombala, Monaro Hwy, Cann River & Orbost.
  8. Eight night also in Lakes Entrance, also a day of activity options.
  9. Sunday lunch at Maffra – formal end to Rendezvous 2025

Route

The travel distances between stops are 250-300km. Drive times are about 4 1/4 hr initially per travel day reducing to 3 1/4 by the end of the trip though with coffee, lunch and other stops actual travel time would be a couple of hours longer.

All up it’s about 1500km with a total drive-time of 20-24hrs.
Outline of the route is below.

The gap in the route is because Google maps won’t show the bit between Falls Creek and Mitta Mitta because the road is currently closed for winter. That’s the way we’ll be going.
