Renault Round-Up 2026
Renaults out in force for 2026 RCCV Round-Up
More than 70 Renaults turned out for the annual RCCV Renault Round-Up – this year down on the Yarra River at Pier 35, 265 Lorimer St Port Melbourne.
There was a very good show of 4CVs and Dauphines to celebrate their 70th and 80th year anniversaries – with the Cavanagh’s displaying stand out cars (James’ 4CV and Dave’s R8G rally car) at the entrance to the venue to welcome visitors who travelled from all Victoria and interstate.
The venue proved very popular with its on-site marina, cafe, restaurant and other facilities within easy reach. Lucy Riddett added memorable French ambience with her piano accordian to entertain everybody during the morning.
Notable among the trophy winners was Keith McElroy in his lovely original green 1964 Renault R8 who took home two awards – including Best in Show.
Christian Teese had three award winners but took home two trophies – one for his matt red Clio RS which took out the Peoples Choice award and one for his Megane 265 (the Megane and the Clio were tied on identical points for Best Renault 2011 -2025).

Our big day out is headed to Port Melbourne!
Display Cars: arrive from 9:00am. Spectators: from 10:00am to 3:30pm.

For a very special Renault Round-Up in 2026 we are going to be displaying our beloved Renaults down by the Yarra River at Port Melbourne on Sunday, February 15.

We are heading to Pier 35 Bar, Grill & Marina at 263 Lorimer Street, Port Melbourne where we’ll be able to admire our club cars plus the boats and their facilities at Pier 35 Marina as well as enjoy a coffee, lunch and a glass of wine to go with it!

Please note the late change of venue from Richmond to Port Melbourne as circumstances out of our control forced us to look elsewhere.
And we are very pleased that this year we’ll be down by the riverside.
Pop over to Pier 35’s website here to see what’s on offer..

There’s plenty of room on site for both member and non-member Renaults and we’ll be entertained by accordion player Lucy Riddett as she adds her musical magic to the atmosphere on the day.
In her teens, Lucy became infatuated with the sound of the accordion after listening to Yann Tiersen’s musical score for the French Film ‘Amelie’. So she’ll be right at home amongst a slew of French cars and enthusiasts.
Check out her website for more about her.

So put Sunday February 15 2026 in your diary now.
We’ll be there putting up our marquee at 8.30am (volunteers most welcome), display cars in from 9am and with the coffee on the brew we’ll get a great day happening right through to later in the afternoon.

Don’t forget car entry is by gold coin donation and be sure to collect your entry form if you want your pride and joy to be judged.
Categories range from pre 1970, through RS models, Alpine, People’s Choice and Best in Show.
